Testing
We spend $20 per day on Facebook ads for Gravy.
Four weeks ago, these ads were generating 6 leads a week.
Now they’re generating 12.
The only thing we changed was the above-the-fold copy on our website.
It used to be this:
Now it’s this:
In fact way back when, with our original copy, which Kale took the piss out of me about here would you believe we struggled to get 3 leads a week.
There’s some obvious marketing/copy-writing lessons here, don’t be vague, speak simply, tell people what you’ll do for them blah blah blah (which I stupidly ignored till now).
But generally, I think the more useful insight here is two-fold: → Small tweaks in the right places of a business can effect big improvements (not just to copy-writing)
→ Always be testing
